My 2 cents - Netanyahu talked him into it.

From what I’ve read mostly here:

Homeland Security is on impulse power during the funding fight.

Iran was relenting to EVERYTHING at the negotiations. Possibly because they saw what happened in Venezuela, sure, but without the threat of Iran (for 30 years) Netanyahu has nothing.

I know, Epstein, but Trump has weathered that for months and RW media (Fox) has ignored it and even rationalized it for months.

If there any other reasonable conclusion?

of Sunni world. Abraham Accords are designed to let Saudis become more westernized. Shia, Iran is mostly Shia, and Quran are very opposed to usury and finance.
MBS, through Kushner, pushed trump as well.

The military action is a distraction from the Epstein files, and wwould have been unnecessary if Khamenei died naturally. As a bonus, Bebe wants war as a distraction for his own problems. If Khamenei died naturally, the negotiations would have likely continued, logically for a little while at least. Couldn’t have that now, could we?
