An email sent to Liberty University School of Law students over the weekend:

An email sent to Liberty University School of Law students over the weekend lays out, in refreshingly unvarnished terms, what the administration's hiring pipeline actually looks like. And it's exactly as bad as everyone suspected:

The two most important requirements are you MUST be aligned politically with President Trump and his administration and you must be willing to work hard. Don't be scared off by the transcript requirement. GPA is not a strong factor. If you meet those two requirements, you have a shot.

Head leaning away from him, arms slack, frozen smile.

The backstory is that she was pregnant and deliberately wore her shorts unzipped to show off her belly, so he unzipped his pants to match. I don't believe this photo was her idea. Who unzipped her pants and hiked up her shirt? She was the wife of somebody who worked for him.

This picture gives me the creeps. Not funny at all.

Liberty is rank as the 141st strongest law school https://www.usnews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-law-schools/liberty-university-03196 The major law firms would not interview at this school. It is sad that the DOJ is hiring from this law school

Liberty University is ranked No. 141 (tie) out of 195 in Best Law Schools. Schools were assessed on their performance across a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence.

It managed to come in dead last for criminal law.

Law School Rankings
#141 in Best Law Schools (tie)

Law School Specialty Rankings
#176 in Business/Corporate Law (tie)
#185 in Clinical Training
#188 in Constitutional Law (tie)
#180 in Contracts/Commercial Law (tie)
#195 in Criminal Law
#183 in Environmental Law (tie)
#183 in Health Care Law (tie)
#185 in Intellectual Property Law (tie)
#180 in International Law (tie)
#145 in Tax Law (tie)
#73 in Trial Advocacy (tie)

Once you get past the three schools tied for 175, there's no further attempt at ranking. The remaining schools are listed only as 178 - 195.

from Liberty U and one is no a Texas Senate lawyer and he husband is a Gov. Abbott aide and the other now works for a Texas GOP Senator. They love these MAGA leaning lawyers and Liberty is a perfect resource for them.

Maybe politics have always been a fertile ground for new lawyers, but I know for a fact that it was a big influence in their decision to attend Liberty - btw, they are both White Christian Nationalists.
