(2,980 posts)Enough votes cast up to 7pm (and early votes) have been counted and crockett fell short of what she needed while Talarico is beating all his benchmarks in every county.

(10,845 posts)And very few election day votes have been counted statewide. Velshi said it is in the low, single, digits and that the, votes, counted,so far are about 40% of the total vote.

(10,845 posts)But if the election day votes, are different then it may be too early to tell with only 40% of the total vote, counted so far

(2,980 posts)Most of the uncounted votes are areas that are heavily pro talarico

(114,389 posts)Being first is not always a positive given it ignores the entire election process and fails to let it play out--not to mention it can make for a jackass assessment if wrong.
No dog in "this fight." I like both candidates although I understand the perception of who might have the easiest path.
I am just over the armchair pollsters who predict despite there being ongoing issues with counting the vote--including a state supreme court stay in Dallas County. Prior elections such predictions while the counting was ongoing made far more sense. Now, I'd say Wasserman may need to learn to "take a beat."

(2,980 posts)And Talarico is ahead by 5 despite her best county coming out in full force.

(38,785 posts)(Likely to go for Crockett) and Republican interference in allowing votes to be counted.

(2,980 posts)The same day vote that has been reported he is ahead significantly. His vote lead is increasing the more those same day votes are counted.

(32,595 posts)Stopped counting the votes in Dallas.
You know what's going to happen now. Crockett voters who didn't get to vote will be pissed for the general election.
Magats are crooked and shrewd. Dallas used to allow people to vote in any precinct but for this election one had to vote only in his/her precinct. Thousands of voters were turned away from the polls, Dallas had 2 1/2 hour long lines to vote and then after waiting in line they were not allowed to vote, they will be pissed in November.
Talarico should get to a microphone now and demand that all the voters be allowed to vote.
