She only threw her hat late into the ring for Senate, but can't she stay in Congress?

she became too ambitious and ran for a Senate seat she could never win, unfair as that statement might sound. Just like Katie Porter running for the Senate in California, she risked her bright future for an unattainable goal.

The anti-Trump stuff can be all-consuming. All my Liberal friends and coworkers seem addicted to it

If she sits out the campaign she will lose the respect I have for her.

So she wouldn’t be able to accept a job at MS NOW until then.

Her committee work and the publicity she has generated has been invaluable for framing issues and generating enthusiasm among democrats around the country

I am sure Crockett will support Talarico but her real value to democratic voters and independents is on the national stage.

You may lose respect for JC but what about the respect that many black women are losing for the Democratic Party. Honestly, I think the democrats should start waking up. Stop taking our votes for granted.

She would be wonderful in that position, but she will also be the first one fired if Trump pushes too hard. We lost Joy Reid and others like this.

She really belongs in political life. My hope is that she gets picked for a cabinet position once Dems get in office.

Unfortunately that election is 4 years off.

She ran her campaign like the nomination belonged to her. She pissed off reporters (The Atlantic for one) and took some things for granted.

I like her a lot, and smart people learn from failure, but I am concerned about her being out of the public eye.

Why did she not run for re-election at the same time?

Unlikely that she could run for 2 different offices in the same primary.

if Thomas or Alito resign and Don of the dead actually followed through on his promise to nominate Ted. MSW Media said Cruz would be approved by a 99-0 vote just because they'd be happy to see him out of the Senate.

That article misrepresented her famous interaction with Marjorie Taylor Greene to try to paint Crockett as a bigot.

I follow serious writers like David Frum but too many publications, including the Atlantic, are featuring the personal publicity-hound writers who model themselves after the disastrous Olivia Nuzzi.
