How likely is it that Vance will be the republican nominee in 2028?

Assuming everything is "normal" about the cycle. Assume that the election will not be "cancelled" or Trump runs again.

Unless they can find an unknown "outsider" who expects to lose but make a lot of money

He only did well with latino voters last time around.

Don't think they'll even try for it. So yeah, that's a very good point

But who knows. Can't imagine any GOPer actually wanting the nomination post-Trump.

He is a poseur of the worst kind, but very uncomfortable "in his own skin" and that comes through loud and clear. Even to many/most MAGA.

Why did they LOVE Charlie Kirk? Well, he was far more clever at telling MAGA what they wanted to hear while likewise producing even more disgusting extremist content to disseminate outside his routine social media and internet content. And... he appeared to be "smooth" while doing so. Vance can't do that.

I think not at all. Too many people on the right don't like him. He's widely understood to be a liar. The incels including the Fuentes types don't like him.

Rubio was clearly embarrassed. Vance is endeared by the MAGA base. He will be the nominee.
