There may be several reasons - including finding places for evacuated dependant families or those who already had sick chits/light duty and were evacuated from the base clinics in the ME, but it's still a bad sign these rumors are coming out.

Reminds me of the early 1980's, when the NeoCons and the CIA were starting mini-wars everywhere to establish US hegemony over the Soviet sphere (for oil and natural resources) and putting US troops in harms way in places like Lebanon, Panama, Nicaragua, Northern Africa, Somalia...

If Iran continues to hold out and stays mostly unified, it will be difficult for the US to achieve its objectives with air raids.

That’s what makes most of this exercise pointless. To truly achieve “regime change” you have to reorder society. Iran is not Iraq or Venezuela.

I can't keep up with Trump's lies.

Yes, good point that we weren't talking boots on the ground after that.

Commenting on Friday's short notices, the IDF said that it cannot commit to a specific number of minutes between the warning and the activation of sirens. Meanwhile, satellite images show Iran is attempting to "blind" the United States and its allies by targeting radar systems
