(5,457 posts)Kagi is an amazing subscription-based search engine that doesnt sell your data. They are doing amazing things. I had no idea they are doing translation too. I sure hope they make. Kagi translation app. I use Google Translate very heavily when I travel. (Home too, for language learning.)

So? So imagine if you just wandered in and wrote something inane, such as: I just saw a lovely donkey. You would never be promoted again.
But what if I really did see a lovely donkey? Then you write: I recently had a powerful reminder that consistent effort and carrying the heavy loads often go unrecognised, yet they are the backbone of any successful operation.

(12,324 posts)My former best friend has been in the corporate world for as long as I can remember and she made a St Patrick's Day post the other week that was the most ridiculous corporate claptrap I've read in quite awhile. About being "Irish" (she's blessed with an Irish surname but is 5th or 6th generation and has never set foot in the country. I was flabbergasted.
It's a mockery, bullshit. We give our better students awards for their work in our clinic and you'd think they'd won an Olympic gold medal for the way they spice up the "achievement" (it's really nothing more than doing what they're friggin' supposed to and having slightly more sentience than the other students).
I hate it. I look for job adverts on it and nothing more. I cannot stomach having to engage with the fakery on there.
