Trump: "They'll have no bridges, no power plants, no anything. I won't go further because there are other things that are worse than those two, and we might have -- well, if I had my choice, what would I like to do? Take the oil Unfortunately, the American people would like to see us come home."

Leaving others to clean up his mess. Great strategy.

And he knows this war is a drag on the GOP.

So he will follow through with his threats and bomb some more stuff and then GTFO of there and claim victory before his deadline passes.

Whole claims that he can “stop it” whenever he wants, he actually lacks that ability- there are other forces beyond his control. Bombing stuff does not create a material or a political victory.

In this case, everyone else.

Do you hear that, America? Do you hear that, MAGAts? This failed war in Iran, these persistent higher gas and food and everything prices, they are YOUR fault. YOU didn't love him enough. HE didn't fail, YOU did. He was doing just fine, perfect actually, and you messed it all up by not loving him properly.

Excuses, rationalization, blaming... All of a sudden, he gives a shit about what the American people want? Did someone tell him that the American people want his head on a platter at this point?

But bombing the hell out of civilian sites will not endear him to people who will still be suffering from high prices for gas, food, abd medicine.

However, his MAGA cult will be proud of him for show-of-force bombing and for leaving a war that they oppose.
