So. Hungary was financing CPAC?

I can't find any other sources for this, so....

"The state will not finance these things, neither the event called CPAC nor other related institutions such as the Mathias Corvinus Collegium and similar attached bodies. I believe the state should never have financed them in the first place, it was a crime. Mixing party financing with government spending from the state budget is, in my view, a criminal offense, and this will have to be investigated by the future authorities, including the National Office for the Recovery and Protection of Public Assets, since those budgetary funds were not meant to finance party events.

CPAC is welcome to come to Budapest, very welcome, but it should not be financed with Hungarian taxpayers’ money. It should be funded by Fidesz, or by Orbán’s proxies, at least until that money is taken back."

Your headline makes it sound like the country was the sole source of funding for the entire CPAC organization.

The headline says "So Hungary was financing CPAC?". I didn't know CPAC was in other countries, although I'm not surprised. Your post is rude, suggesting if someone didn't know there were CPAC meetings in Hungary, their reading comprehension is suboptimal.

The crypto industry already announced $200 million in spending on the 2026 midterms, and we aren't even through the primaries. That's almost as much as they spent on the 2024 elections, where they were nearly 50% of all corporate contributions. And that money is already paying off.

another foreign enemy has also been paying to prop up the domestic enemy. I wonder if Xi has been 'lending' a helping hand. There's always interest owned in such cases. Did I mention that conservatives suck?
PS, the Epstein Files must be referred to daily so that we shall never forget.

Here’s the link. She says Magyar, Sunday’s vote’s winning candidate, reported Orban supported CPAC.

I hope the link works. I looked for a gift link but found nothing.

She has a page on Facebook and posts her daily letters to Facebook. This particular letter was difficult to post because Facebook was rejecting it. After about 5 tries to post, Facebook finally allowed it through but the question remains as to how long it will stay in place.

Every US citizen needs to see this information.

To me, the international web of corruption is starting to fray a little.

We need to keep the bright lights on the Epstein files.

We need to clean up our own backyard and dump Trump and his minions as quickly as we can.

We need Congress--all of them--to do their jobs!
