Jeffrey Epstein was 66 years old when he allegedly died by suicide on August 10, 2019, while in custody at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York. Born on January 20, 1953, he was awaiting trial on federal charges of sex trafficking minors. 


"Palm Beach Pete" is a 71-year-old Florida man who went viral in March 2026 due to his striking resemblance to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. After a video of him driving a convertible on I-95 in South Florida was shared on social media, prompting conspiracy theories that Epstein was still alive, he stepped forward to identify himself.
