Trump Jesus reminder for the next few election cycles

Prescient or not, I’m hopeful that our country will have free and fair elections this autumn and afterwards, so I thought up a biting meme the Good Guys can use against their Republican/reactionary opponents.

So Orange Julius likes to compare himself to Jesus Christ and the Republican response is—crickets? Let’s have fun with this!

If Donald is going to compare himself to God, can you imagine a male Republican candidate facing an attack ad where the candidate is standing there and Donald What’s-his-name is standing behind him dressed in Biblical-era robes with the caption “This is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased”?

The ad might not work on the MAGA faithful, but might get a worthwhile reaction from the rest of the electorate. I think tying Republican politicos to Trump ought to be good for at least a decade.
