The president's son on Maria Bartiromo's show bragging about one of his companies landing a $24m Pentagon contract
Fox's Maria Bartiromo celebrates the president’s son’s company winning a Pentagon contract
Bartiromo devoted more than 10 minutes of her program to a fawning joint interview with Foundation Future Industries CEO Sankaet Pathak and Eric Trump, the company’s “chief strategy adviser.”
After Bartiromo congratulated the pair on winning a $24 million Defense Department contract to test its “Phantom” robot for military applications, she gave them a platform to talk up their product, as well as what Bartiromo described as “these incredible goals that you've got,” including to “build life-sustaining technology on Earth and beyond.”
Bartiromo was a key player in Fox’s fixation on Hunter Biden, regularly hosting Republican members of Congress like House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) to promote their overwrought investigations. The sum total of the money Comer tracked from international business sources to “the Bidens and their associates” — itself an inflated figure that includes money going to non-family members — was $20 million, less than the single Pentagon contract Eric’s company received.

Elizabeth Warren sounds alarm on Eric Trump-linked company getting Pentagon deal: 'Corruption in plain sight'
"Eric Trump went on FOX to brag about winning ANOTHER multimillion-dollar contract from the Trump administration. I've been sounding the alarm and pushing for answers. Is the Pentagon just a cash machine for Trump's kids now? This looks like corruption in plain sight," Warren tweeted.
Donald Trump Jr.'s 1789 Capital is an investor in Vulcan Elements, a rare earth company that received a $620 million Pentagon loan. The loan helped boost the value of the company and Trump's stake, as reported by the Financial Times.
Both oldest Trump sons are also involved with Florida drone company PowerUps, which is hoping to land military contracts, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal.
Other publicly traded companies with ties to one or more of the Trump sons include Dominari Holdings DOMH, New America Acquisition I Corp NWAX, PSQ Holdings PSQ, GrabAGun Digital Holdings PEW and Trump Media & Technology Group DJT.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt previously told Benzinga there are no conflicts of interest when it comes to investments made by Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, when asked about Trump Mobile.
