I thought the "shooting" was fake, but

then I read the “manifesto.” It sounds like Cole Allen was admitting his plans to try to take out trDUMP et al. What do you all think about this?

This also suggests time to create a new manifesto to fit this type of faux validation....

We continue to think with blind trust in journalism as we could back in the day....old habits are hard to adjust with and use some needed scrutiny with this administration....Everything associated with this crime family is manipulation...

I am looking for factual evidence.... I'm sick of media bias and click bait and choose to remain very skeptical with media.... I tend to now wait until something really happens verse he said this, that blah blah blah series....

Deception is the way of this administration ...

Guy writes a manifesto and goes to DC to set something off. Never makes it to the right floor of the hotel. Didn't even fire his weapon.

Trump and his people are claiming he was almost killed and they need a secured ballroom.

A bunch of journalists made off with free bottles of wine.

Can we get back to the Epstein Files?

His running back sprint was not much, but carrying loaded weapons at a major event with a manifesto is pretty conclusive.

He sure was incompetent if that was his intent.

9. At Least Two Important items Of Information Needed

1 Was Cole Allen already known to Secret Service/FBI.

2. Was there advance warning to Secret Service/FBI of imminent incident.

I can see the potential for a rogue administration in any country monitoring or grooming potential assassins and being being prepared to make use of incidents that arise to further authoritarian rule.

I think there are similarities in the three incidents at Butler PA, Palm Beach, Fl, and Washington DC and I think citizens are right to be aware of these and to discuss them.

7. I think it was real. And it's differences from Butler are the reasons why I think Butler was a hoax.

+ This guy was stopped floors away from Cankles. He was not allowed to get anywhere near his target. In Butler, the secret service knew the shooter was on top of a building within the security perimeter, with a gun. And they knew it for 20 minutes before the shooting.
+This guy was not shot. That means no one needed to silence him.
+This guy didn't like Cankles. The shooter in Butler was a maga.
+Even though the danger at the WHCD was floors away and never got close to Cankles, the secret service kept Cankles's body covered entirely until he was brought to a safe location. This is what they always do when the president is in danger. In contrast, in Butler, not knowing if there was a second shooter, they paused at the top of a stairway and allowed Cankles to be completely exposed for long enough to get his action figure photo.

Especially the removal of him from the stage. That should have happened in Butler. People would have followed them to a hospital.

None of that happened. People were disposable at Butler. People are disposable to HIM

The SS was incompetent I think. Several members were fired after that disgrace. Never attribute to malice what can be observed as incompetence.

MIHOP (made it happen on purpose) or
LIHOP (let it happen on purpose).

I'm actually surprised this hasn't been renewed in terms of the questions. Had it been LIHOP, SS and other security would have to have known the assailant was planning to do what he did and merely planned to take advantage of it (I don't see that they were that proactive or competent at all to have identified him and his movements so that really doesn't ring true with me). I just think the lack of security in this or any hotel was so lax that they are scrambling now to explain, but I don't find it necessarily surprising (had we not been at war with Iran or facing a populace not so divided since the civil war). There is a bit of sarcasm in that last comment if you missed it. JHC! A final note on those who might argue "LIHOP," well, "dead men don't talk," and this assailant is most certainly not dead so that might argue against that premise of there being intentional involvement by the administration on some level.

As to the assailant's "manifesto," it seemed he was probably feeling badly for the questions left behind by friends and family (assuming he would have been killed), so it does not surprise me that it was written nor available nor quickly made available to LEO and I assume a family member released it to the media (not sure).

Other aspects that argue in favor of this being "real," include that there was no evidence of big prediction market (Polymarket/Kalshi) betting on an incident happening as has happened with other major incidents. Trump's response is arguable. We don't see the earlier bit where Trump was supposedly lying on the floor BEFORE SS came to get him (as was briefly described by the mentalist who was speaking to him at the time of the sounds being heard and thereafter). At this point he's probably under some adrenaline influence that aided him in (mostly) being coherent and focused in the press bit 30 minutes or so later. That he would immediately focus on how the event could help HIM and his wishes is hardly surprising--the acts/focus of the ultimate shyster and marketer. Given his obsession with the damned ballroom and knowledge that the only reason the entire project was not shut down by the DC judge was the security aspects--it is not surprising that immediately became the meme (sent immediately around the MAGA world) to be propagated.

It is starting to come out that it was the WH that did not want more security outside the immediate perimeter of the ballroom and obviously did NOT request an upgrade to a "National Security Event." That makes sense given they are clearly now reluctant to criticize the SS or others. Does it argue in favor of intent or incompetence? I'd argue the latter...

Might any possible "scheme" have included having Trump remain in the dark as to details so that he could not mouth off prior to the event--even while he might have spoken about the "value" of such a scheme in the past? I guess, but others in the loop don't seem to be much better than he is at keeping things secret. So, again argues against a staged event.

I do have a jaundiced and skeptical eye out toward all that comes next (including that I don't think the accused actually shot the Federal agent), but we shall see. The best thing the "TRUTH" has going for it right now is their incredible levels of incompetence. Still, my current conclusion is that this shooting event was NOT staged--but that in no way rules out the administration's opportunism ruling the day going forward.

1) There are multiple factions in the RW sphere. More than ever, Trump is not in control of everything. This could have been orchestrated by parties that are not entirely friendly to Trump. They are all backstabbers.

2) Any operation like this involves "dressing the scene". Go listen to the Rob Reiner podcast series that details all the connections that were being made years ahead of the JFK assassination.

This could be a lone wolf. But the presence of a manifesto could just as easily have been part of the scene dressing. One factor that is hard to explain is that Trump only announced he would be attending the Dinner on Monday. It seems highly doubtful a guy in California would have woken on Tuesday and said "Eureka, this is the opportunity I have been waiting for."

The guy could be nuts. Many people are.

Or it could have been a carefully planned stunt. Dirty tricks happen a lot in politics, especially when people are raking in literally billions of dollars from their positions of power.
