FCC to direct Disney-owned TV stations to file early license renewals, pressure to fire Kimmel

The Federal Communications Commission is expected to issue an order Tuesday directing Disney’s eight owned-and-operated television stations to file their broadcast license renewals ahead of schedule, according to a source with knowledge of the matter.

The source described the move as “unprecedented” and directly tied to Jimmy Kimmel’s description of first lady Melania Trump as an “expectant window” on an episode of his ABC late-night show last week.

This is so tiresome.

Wah, wah, wah. Let's use federal agencies to punish those who hurt our feelings instead of doing one effing thing for the American PEOPLE.

At least we know what's important to them and it sure the hell isn't US.

As an aside: there's no way on this Earth that Melania wrote that text herself. She can barely speak English. And she probably didn't even think to write it either. DJT probably got someone to write it for her and she sent it out after negotiating about how much he was going to pay her extra.

1) The broadcast from Kimmel would've happened while the shooter was already travelling, if he indeed came by train, and
2) Melania could become a widow by a means that doesn't involve violence. The dude is 80 years old and obviously not in great health.

The idea that this joke constituted some kind of endorsement of violence against Trump is freaking ridiculous. But then, so is he.
