in great disdain, I just find it refreshing to hear him speak intelligently--even if only reading a scripted speech. At least he knows what the words actually MEAN. And yes, I'd bet money he actually rehearsed it so that he could present it well and put the appropriate emphasis on those portions that deserve it.

Like the monarchy, hate the monarchy. At least for the willing people of the UK, he does not embarrass them on a a 24/7 basis. And even for those worldwide who have good reason to detest the continued imperialism of G. Britain and the monarchy, I'd bet they might well hate him less than our "Dear Leader"...
