Don't push us too far, particularly those in the upper right corner and the far left. We're both G-7 without rump Amurka.

Really, New England has more in common politically and economically with Canada than we do with Arkansas and Alabama.

The tax dollars collected by the us government.

Those states add up to 47.14% of us tax dollars collected in 2024, per a wikipedia page.

Add in states i would argue are blue, (MI, NV, PA, and AZ) and it get you 55.08%

Thats remarkably closer to half than i expected.
