Would be really nice if this sort of detail/accusation was part of the OP.

New High of 45% in U.S. Identify as Political Independents

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A record-high 45% of U.S. adults identified as political independents in 2025, surpassing the 43% measured in 2014, 2023 and 2024. Meanwhile, equal shares of U.S. adults — 27% each — identified as either Democrats or Republicans.

In most years since Gallup began regularly conducting its polls by telephone in 1988, independents have been the largest political group. However, the independent percentage has increased markedly in the past 15 years, typically registering 40% or higher, a level not reached prior to 2011.

MANY years ago! Time to make some phone calls again.

Thanks for the list...I'll do it tomorrow. I'll call ALL OF THEM, again. It doesn't matter if you're a constituent or not, I have a way to get around that minor detail and it's worked for me since 2017. I learned the trick at an Impeach Trump Rally that year.

Since people move all the time yet keep the same phone number the area code and number itself is useless as far as connecting with anyone. My niece worked as a staffer in DC for Peters (of all people) and she told me that they really do listen to the callers and they do take note of your opinion and pass it on so this is not a waste of time. If you get a staffer on the phone provide a fake address obtained by Zillow in that particular county or state (Congress critters sometimes need a specific address). They never ask for it but it's good to have as a back up just in case. It literally takes 3 minutes to Google any county in the US.

These warrantless searches are unlawful.
I don’t care what this supremely corrupt court thinks it’s pronounced. They are wrong.

The list is in no true order after the first 7.

The first 10 of the 12 are all or were No Labels Problem Solvers Caucus members, with 6 of the 12 also Blue Dogs.

Henry Cuellar of Texas (Also a Blue Dog Coalition member)

Jared Golden of Maine (Also a Blue Dog Coalition member)

Josh Gottheimer of New Jersey (Also a Blue Dog Coalition member and for years was the Democratic leader of the Problem Solvers Caucus)

Don Davis of North Carolina

Marie Gluesenkamp Perez of Washington (Also a Blue Dog Coalition co-chair)

Tom Suozzi of New York (Problem Solvers co-chair)

Vicente Gonzalez of Texas (Also a Blue Dog Coalition co-chair)

Susie Lee of Nevada (Problem Solvers vice-chair)

Haley Stevens of Michigan (Running for US Senate)

Angie Craig of Minnesota (the only No vote for this bill on this list) (Running for US Senate)

The only 2 non Problem Solvers members of the 12 (but both voted for this bill):

Laura Gillen of New York (In the centrist New Democrat Coalition only)

Sanford Bishop of Georgia (Blue Dog Coalition only)
