(12,762 posts)Two at a time. Bye, bye 14th and 15th Amendments. They have the exact same decades-old data" and "eradicated practices" that justified "extraordinary" federal intrusion into state affairs.
I heard the Supremes are going to rewrite the preamble to the Constitution too. Instead of, "We the People of the United States in Order to form a more perfect Union," they are going to change it to, "We the white, men of wealth in Order to control All citizens,".
It comes from that Project 2025 plan. There's also a clause in the plan to require bowing to US royalty such as the President and the Supreme Court Justices.....just saying, you got to read between the lines. The US is in a rush to go back to feudalism.

I've said it a thousand times over the course of several decades, Every judge and justice must, by law, abjure any political affiliation whatsoever. The grotesque corruption we see today has been enabled by partisan jurists like Roberts, Alito, Thomas, et al., who put party loyalties before loyalty to the Constitution and the rule of law.

(8,703 posts)That's why the MAGA Gop are running around disappearing even ELECTED Black officeholders via redistricting and other underhanded shenanigans.
Klansmen (plus Stephen) in black robes. Only thing missing are the pointy hoods.

(21,333 posts)I believe that was the bullshit excuse Roberts used in his first gutting of the VRA in 2013: Look! A black guy was elected and then re-elected President! Racism is over!
