Please verify quotes. Does anyone have a real source for the quote attributed to Rosanne Cash

that quickly got so many likes here?

I did an exhaustive search and can't find any news stories with it, though it would have quickly made the news.

that quote is showing up only in recent social media posts about it, all quoting only those words and not giving any time, location or context for the statement.

As explained in my reply 20 there, something she said in January might have been the inspiration for PART of that apparently fake quote, but most of the new "quote" was apparently just made up by someone else and launched on social media.

It would help so much if DUers would check for a reliable source of a quote before posting it. It's very easy to post a link, or at least reference a TV appearance or wherever it's from. If the OP doesn't have the source, please check for one yourself before reccing the OP. If you can't find one, ask the OP for one.
