Do not ask me for references or links, I give my opinions.
We had a nuclear agreement that took 2 years to make. It was working, random inspections were ongoing, Iran was not enriching uranium to military grade.
The strait of Hormuz was open to anyone.
Krasnov tears up the nuclear agreement and gives lame excuses why. Iran starts enriching uranium again.
Bibi has a copy of the Epstein files. The UAE and Saudi Arabia pay Krasnov a big sum of money. Krasnov goes to war with Iran.
When asked what the objective of the was is, Krasnov replies, to stop Iran from enriching uranium and to reopen Hormuz.
What the fuck am I missing?

Trump and all the criminals around him are there for the grift. "Grift" hardly is an adequate word because we are talking tens of billions of dollars that they have already put in their pockets.
Their favorite tactic is to manipulate markets. They have done this with crypto. They have done this with the stock market (over and over again). And now they are doing it with oil, at the pleasure of Saudi Arabia and the multinational oil companies.
Who has the largest proven oil reserves? Not Saudi Arabia. Not Kuwait. Not the UK North Slope. Venezuela has 300 billion barrels of proven oil reserves, the largest in the world.
Trump doesn't give a shit about Venezuela's politics, but people around him know the value of that oil. Trump tried to make a deal with Maduro. He wouldn't deal, so Trump took him out and now has a cooperative partner in in Delci Rodriguez. It is no accident that Trump blasted Iran and shut down the majority of Middle East oil just two months after taking Maduro out. It was actually quicker than that. Trump started sending the Navy to the Gulf within 10 days of making the deal with Rodriguez.
Get it now? Look into that Qatari slush fund account of Trump's and that will reveal the entire story driving this war. Trump will be perfectly happy to keep the Strait closed for months as long as he is getting his take from Rodriguez.

(32,833 posts)I agree 100%.
The Venezuela oil money is in Krasnov's bank in Qatar, most likely there is also tariff money. The arms we were to have shipped to the Kurds have come up missing, most likely another of Krasnov's money laundering.
Krasnov even stated he wants a piece of the toll action in Hormuz. Waiting for Krasnov to invade Panama and take over the canal and charge tolls.
They just gave a military contract to a Trump owned company.

He ran for president in 2024 to 1) stay out of jail and 2) to rob us blind.
So far mission accomplished. Money is hard to trace in the fog of war

(21,358 posts)the nuclear agreement was signed/approved by five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council--China, France, Russia, U.K., U.S.--plus Germany, the European Union, and of course Iran. I'm not sure that kind of broad approval will be possible again after one of the main signatories (U.S.) unilaterally withdrew from the agreement because a ridiculously incompetent racist felon wanted revenge by canceling a major achievement of a black guy who had once roasted him at a public dinner.
