Why do the Trump kids ignore Trump's need for intervention?

I never see this asked in the media.

Yet who on this site would sit by as an 80 year old parent sent them images of himself as Jesus, as the Pope, on Mount Rushmore, a "doctor," a war hero, a conqueror.....all posted on social media. Coupled with rabid threats, cursing and foaming at the mouth rants.......all online. At 3 AM........

Most families would be alarmed by this slide into delusion and grandiosity and brought "Dad" for a consult. If not concerned, then at least embarrassed. Not the Trump kids.

All his claims of "perfect score" to the contrary, I'm guessing he didn't do so hot.

Particularly given that after-the-fact he can't even report the names of the animals on the test correctly:

Don Jr. and Eric are certainly enabling him, probably also Barron. Ivanka and Tiffany seem to be keeping lower profiles lately, but Jared is definitely still in the thick of it.

I said before that Trump would easily sell out his kids if it meant avoiding prison or other punishment. This includes Ivanka. He would let them get the blame for what he did.

The kids mostly care about inheritance. I don't think they love him.

The legal fights over the inheritance is something I'm looking forward to after he iz dead.

So, don't expect them to do anything that might piss him off. He's just the type to write someone out of his will at the slightest provocation.

It's a real-life "waiting for Dad to die" drama. Succession in a box.

Beavis and Butt-Head are totally useless failsons, they'd have nothing without him. And Jarvanka have gotten literal billions, corruptly, with more to come in the near future. None of them are going to kill the golden goose.

A separate matter is why the media ignores the abnormal dynamic.

The Don is their meal ticket. They are all nonentities. Without him they are nothing. Beyond the kids, that is the same for everyone in the cabinet or top levels of the administration. Many of them know that he, or his power of the pardon, are the only thing standing between them and jail.

They've all hated his repulsive ass for decades, but lived large off his success -- or rather, series of upward-failures.

They hate that his need for ultra-mega-grandiosity and drama made them pretend to do a damn bit of work in their otherwise coddled lives.

They hate that his continued overlong existence stands in the way of their "rightful" inheritance.

They hate that his current general unpopularity also taints their sick entitled asses.

They rode his coattails all the way up, they know they're out of their depth, and they hope he dies before he drags them down with him. They hate him and hope he dies, a fairly common sentiment these days.

The madder he gets the more power descends to Kushner, Junior, Eric, and all the other enablers. When JD gets in that will all change, either because he doesn't trust them or because Peter Thiel does not.

1. They despise him. But have to play along to stay in the good graces.

2. Prior to this, they were looking at a squandered family fortune and looking ways to capitalize on the name. Probably had plans to sell all the assets, even at a loss, just to get something. Now he's using his spot to generate money, they are not going to jeopardize it.

3. Family name. If it becomes too much of an embarrassment they will get laughed out of everywhere.

4. Afraid of what may come out about him. It's going to be a publicity nightmare eventually, better to handle it when he's dead and can't rage and tweet publically anymore.

Personally, I think they will fall off the map afterwards. Change branded properties if kept and sell off the rest. They know the name is now toxic as well as being associated with him. And his "red hat" followers aren't exactly those with significant disposable income. So, drop the name, reorganize the company and just keep a low profile. But for now, milk it for all you can get.
