She was one of the Republicans who was vocal about "expunging Trump's record" of the two impeachments.

Never happened.

On the books, that bloated load is STILL "twice-impeached." That's the only thing "proven" here.

Cassidy voted to convict, not impeach. The impeachment is the formal House charge and Cassidy is a Senator.

It still annoys me how often people make make that mistake.

Still and all, I'm kind of pulling for him in this particular race. If he wins, it's a sort of repudiation of Trump.

And then I hope he loses the general. Not holding my breath on that, but I can hope.
