Today has been a good day.

Like hydrangeas but not a type i'd ever seen. Just beautiful and so glad you are getting out in the fresh air and greenery.

I really felt the inspiration from yesterday's thread, so I determined that today I would act! These photos are the result.

I'm feeling fortunate today, because my boys came to help me on the lawn & garden. I can't put my finger on it, but I'm not capable of doing as much work in a day as I could fifty years ago. Maybe as much in a day as I used to do in well under and hour.

None of us could do the work we did fifty years ago! NONE. That is a given fact.

We have other abilities. We have wisdom, and love and insight.

And, as far as napping goes, I am quite fond of both napping, especially with a cat on y lap, and an acronym told to us by one of my husband's friends - SCAN = Senior Citizen Afternoon Nap.

So, SCAN away. It's one of the privileges of retirement.

Naps regularly save my life! I had a most refreshing one today that lasted about 90 minutes. That's pretty standard for me.
