Details. Doordasher knocked on door, lost, phone dead. "I need help"

Man with gun confronted victim

Victim got back in car and was driving away

Homeowner unloaded gun in direction of leaving car striking driver in the back

One of the shots hit Barry in the back, according to authorities. The driver later underwent emergency surgery and had over 2 feet (.6 meters) of his small bowels removed, prosecutors said.

Dude just off and shooting people is nothing to wish on injured and disabled people. This guy will NEVER have enough empathy to care for anyone.

The sentencing comes one month after Reilly’s wife, Selina Nelson-Reilly, accepted a plea deal in which she admitted to illegally deleting more than a dozen videos depicting her husband’s crime that were captured by the couple’s doorbell camera. As part of the plea deal, Nelson-Reilly was placed on probation supervision for one year and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.

Reilly was indicted last year on several violent felonies, including attempted murder, two counts of first-degree assault and eight counts of criminal possession of a firearm. The first-degree assault charges covered distinct legal theories: intentional assault and depraved indifference assault. Because the jury only convicted Reilly of depraved indifference assault, they did not consider the attempted murder charge per the judge’s instructions, according to Ryan Greenbaum, a spokesperson for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
