Ken Paxton's Divorce Trial Is Set To Begin Ahead Of General Election: Report

The divorce trial of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who earned the state's Republican nomination for U.S. Senate on Tuesday, is reportedly set to begin at the end of June.

Texas state Sen. Angela Paxton announced last summer that she had filed for divorce from the attorney general "on biblical grounds." In the divorce filing, she listed adultery as the reason for the divorce, The Texas Tribune reported.

The couple had been married for 38 years.

"I believe marriage is a sacred covenant and I have earnestly pursued reconciliation," she wrote on X. "But in light of recent discoveries, I do not believe that it honors God or is loving to myself, my children, or Ken to remain in the marriage."

The trial is reportedly set for June 24-26 in Collin County, roughly 40 miles north of Dallas.

Paxton will face Texas state Rep. James Talarico, the Democratic nominee for Senate, in the November election.

1. Are there really any GOP voters who will change hats due to testimony about his infedility?

Considering how many people didn't mind all the civil suits and criminal cases Trump has lost over the years, I doubt many maga maggots will even notice that Paxton was unfaithful. They were never bothered by all the other bad things he has done over the years.

Hope Talarico wipes the floor with Paxton. He's got some serious points he's making re policies and decent behavior to our fellow Americans.

2. If he says he asked Jesus for forgiveness, he'll probably get MORE support.

I think they like sinners who seek forgiveness. It makes them feel better or something....

And we all know what is said about a woman scorned.
He might try to find one of his corrupt friends to claim they were having an affair with her, but I don't think that will hold up.

This is one of the sleaziest people in America, and she chose to stay with him for 30+ years. She enjoyed the fruits of his corruption. To hell with both of them.

She is concerned with the 7th Commandment. I don't know if they have broken the 6th commandment (murder) but they are undoubtedly at least indirectly responsible for many deaths. And they have undoubtedly violated the other 8 on a daily basis. Fuck them all. Hypocrites.
