(69,881 posts)The pictures resonate with boomers because they remind us of childhood, learning to read, playing with our friends, having fun and feeling carefree. I don't know if these types of illustrations resonate with younger people. (I'm guessing that the RNC's focus groups say yes.)

(9,042 posts)when they said 'take America back.' Before it was replaced with the not as subtle as they THINK, 'make America great again.'
It meant the same damn thing. THEY always knew it, even if some of us didn't. And that was just for starters.
Wait until Trump's SC (and C THOMas) convolute law, logic and rationale enough (AGAIN) to let them decide who ISN'T a citizen - just like they did with the Voting Rights Act.
All a part of their end game. So don't be surprised when it happens.
