Contemptuous of the electorate, which is toxic during elections.

When people confronted her, she smirked and leaned into defensive body posture. It seemed to me like she was surprised she would face such questions after gracing Maine with her candidacy after having been recruited hard by Schumer and Gillibrand.

After I saw her town hall, I knew she wasn't going to win.

She looks silly for wanting to re-enter the race but I suppose that's her right. Platner, for all his faults has done the work to earn their votes. It's up to Mainers to decide.

Seems like a reasonable and honest explanation for suspending campaign.

I have admired her for standing up to Trump to his face and following up with winning against him in court.
