Nithya Raman will be facing Karen Bass in the Los Angeles mayoral general election. And Ms. Bass has been awarded the coveted Democrat Since Birth endorsement.

She has an impressive background, but I never heard of her before. Not that it really matters, since I can’t vote in that race.
