You can see it in his eyes, how much he is hurting over this. And how much he is inwardly reflecting and trying to understand his feelings.

He will raise a strong, beautiful, confident child.

We need more people like him.

that the kids at school called me ugly and retard (I apologize for using that word; that was something kids said back in the 60s about anything they didn't like), my mother looked me straight in the face and said "No they didn't. They didn't say that" and turned around and walked away. She basically called me a liar.

How I wish that I had had such a kind, caring and thoughtful parent as that father.

These things shouldn't happen anymore. Everyone has something great and beautiful about them. I live in eastern Iowa and putting other people down is so wrong. Wish I could be your friend.
