And as long as he is the authoritarian in charge of that state, any personal attack is also an attack on that state.

The truly f-ed up thing is that he has absolutely NO knowledge or understanding about systems of government.

He doesn't "aspire" to be an authoritarian.

He doesn't think in those terms.

To him, it is just his reality. He is all powerful. That is what he is. It is how he sees himself. Our tax dollars are his to spend. His tariffs are his to keep or dole out to corporations that join him in consolidating wealth and power in the tiny circle of the masters of the universe who have aided him. And he is their master.

Every agency is his to command. He does not violate the rule of law because he is "testing boundaries." He violates the law because it simply does not exist in his conception of himself and the power he wields. To him, he cannot break the law because he is the law.

He is truly that deluded.

So anytime his will is thwarted, it is an assault on the rightful master of the masters of the universe. He lashes out at the judges as "traitors" because in his simplistic, evil, insane conception of his place in the world, they are traitors. America is "his" right now. Anything that stands in his way is an attack on "America" -- a concept that has no rational grounding as anything but some presumed extension of himself.

It is so far beyond "creepy" I have no words.

But who knows, maybe he did that on purpose? Maybe he tried to show the investigators that he really didn't know E.Jean Carroll? I don't know and it no longer matters. This case is closed. Pay her the money. NOW!!!

i lay down and watch/listen to the shows that i have mostly memorized. (it's my "comfort" show for the last number of years ) maybe i'll be lucky and actually fall asleep for awhile so i set an alarm clock

just take it easy. and take care.

(MS NOW) "The rejection by the nation’s highest court means the end of the legal road for Trump. Still, he said that he 'will continue the fight against this Weaponization and Lawfare Case against me, including the ridiculous claim of Defamation, with all of my power and strength.' "

"Carroll’s lawyer, Roberta Kaplan, said in a statement: 'Today’s Supreme Court decision affirms once and for all the jury’s unanimous verdict that President Donald J. Trump sexually assaulted and defamed E. Jean Carroll. His multiple efforts to appeal that verdict have all failed and today’s ruling ends his quest to avoid accountability for his actions.' "

Still, scumbag Trump will not give up. He ordered the DOJ to start a vindictive criminal probe of E. Jean Carroll and her legal funders.

From 'Free Speech For People': "The DOJ’s vindictive criminal probe of E. Jean Carroll is a dangerous abuse of power. Trump must be impeached"

"Donald Trump has ordered or authorized the Department of Justice to open a baseless and clearly retaliatory criminal probe into E. Jean Carroll, who successfully sued Trump for both sexually assaulting her and subsequently defaming her, and into the nonprofit that helped pay for her attorney fees. After news of the investigations became public, the DOJ denied that it is investigating Ms. Carroll, while still conceding that they were investigating the funders of her lawsuit, thus providing cold comfort to Ms. Carroll or any other sexual abuse victims seeking redress in our courts. And notwithstanding that empty denial, the New York Times reported that 'people briefed on the investigation said that Ms. Carroll was a primary target,' and CNN’s sources have reaffirmed the investigation."

"Let us be clear: Trump is corruptly using the DOJ to attack the victim of his sexual assault, and those who ensured that she had the ability to pay for the legal fees that were driven up by Trump’s exhaustive legal attacks on Ms. Carroll. And they are trying to do so in secret."

"Trump has long abused his power and privilege in an attempt to silence Ms. Carroll. In 2019, during his first term, Ms. Carroll published an account of being sexually assaulted by Trump in 1995. From the office of the presidency, Trump made numerous false and defamatory statements about Ms. Carroll and her claims. Carroll filed a defamation suit in 2019, and Trump responded by corruptly attempting to use the Department of Justice to block the suit."

That's a frankly bizarre way to end a post on social media. Like the rest of it just went in my eyes and fell right out the back of my consciousness but that line just hit me with major WTF energy.

What a fucking weirdo.
