I felt sorry for a couple just featured on CNN at trump's state fair

They were being interviewed and came across as a nice couple, not overly political or partisan in any way. The reporter asked the man why they were there and he said they were celebrating their fiftieth wedding anniversary. They had been married there in DC 50 years ago at the celebration held then. Asked if they were surprised by the small crowd, he said yes. It was very crowded there 30 years ago he said.

I felt sorry for them celebrating their 50th that way. Don't know how far they traveled, but if they were expecting it to be like it was fifty years ago in 1976 and to relive those memories, they must have been disappointed.
