You responded to me challenging (might say attempting to persuade me) to your philosophy of correct “focusing”. I simply responded to your objection. This was perhaps too cryptic for me: “ Attention is your most vital tool. Whatever you focus your attention on, you strengthen.”
Me: “Those ideals have been demeaned and relinquished to a dark place where joy does not reside.” You disagree? Clearly, “joy” may reside in the places where it finds natural accommodation. I interpreted your comment as critical and promoting a reliance on stoicism in this climate of overt lawlessness.
Keep in mind , LMSP appeals to think positively from another’s’ perspective is not always welcome, nor was I soliciting it. I will continue to, focus upon things that motivate, energize and nurture my intelligence and character while guarding against the foci that depletes them. That was and is my position.
BTW. Setting the rules of this casual debate is not necessary. We just will disagree, apparently on our life philosophy.🌻
