the National Archives' reading of the Declaration of Independence

To mark America's 250th birthday, historical interpreters portraying figures including Thomas Jefferson and Abigail Adams read the Declaration of Independence at the National Archives in Washington, D.C. Also among those who spoke at the event were Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins and Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY).
