Both Steve Sr. of Amentum and Steve Jr. the Ohio politician attended the wedding. Kelce's connection with them stems from them being foster/adoptive family who helped his friend Reggie King growing up. Steve Sr. is also WNBA Ohio franchise owner.

Steve Sr. was CEO and board chair at Jacobs for 35 years before their recent merger with Amentum. He took over board of Amentum last October:
