The SCOTUS is broken. It has no ethics and has really incompetent and racist judges. I was appalled at the Citizens United and the case striking down part of the Voting Rights Act (Shelby County). The recent decisions on redistricting and the Voting Rights Act are appalling. There used to be a rule/judicial doctrine that one does not make changes to election laws close to an election. Alito and company ignore that principle.
I like the concept of campaigning on reforming SCOTUS

Last month, Politico obtained a resolution drafted by a number of progressive Democratic House members that called for a major overhaul to the Supreme Court, including the implementation of term limits, additional justices and a new code of ethics. The resolution also detailed plans to terminate the filibuster, a Senate rule that effectively requires legislation to receive 60 votes before advancing.
They do this, and the Republican Party is DEAD! Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social, sharing a link to Politicos reporting on the resolution.
The resolution was drafted in response to the Supreme Courts recent gutting of Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, a provision that prohibited racially discriminatory voting policy. The decision paved the way for GOP-controlled states to redraw their congressional district maps in a manner more favorable to Republicans, and without having to adhere to as many limits against adopting racially gerrymandered districts.
