Maine does not deserve this kind of insanity... but what do you do??

I had an op out that it was up to the people of Maine as to who they elect.. still feel that way.. but Plantner should step away for the sake of the election, for the sake of the people he wants to represent.

but no one can say that the warning signs weren't there. We went through something similar in California with Eric Swalwell, but he didn't have any warning signs. Everyone was fooled, including me. Here, I don't know. But you're right that it is necessary that he do the right thing before July 13.

I enjoyed reading some new perspectives I hadn't gotten elsewhere or in-state, and I soon realized that a senatorial election, regardless of lines on a national map, affects each one of us, whether we were allowed to vote, or watched the results half a nation away.

Best scenario at this point is Platner drops out, Democrats nominate someone like SSen Jackson, and he runs a solid progressive populist campaign that beats Collins.
