Johnson has solved our Supreme Court problem. If you don't like their ruling, just nullify it.

I'm sure Thomas gave him the crib notes.

House Speaker Mike Johnson pushes plot to nullify Supreme Court decision

Days after the Supreme Court dealt President Donald Trump a major defeat on his effort to restrict birthright citizenship, House Speaker Mike Johnson is urging Congress to take up the president’s fight. Following the court’s 6-3 decision in Trump v. Barbara, Johnson argued that lawmakers should act quickly and pursue legislation to continue Trump’s efforts, even as the ruling reaffirmed longstanding interpretations of the 14th Amendment.

Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Johnson argued that Congress should move quickly to pursue legislation that can be used to limit birthright citizenship, which automatically grants U.S. citizenship to most children born on American soil. He also said that Congress needs to address what he described as abuses of the current birthright citizenship system. He claimed the practice of “birthright tourism” has undermined the original purpose of the 14th Amendment and pointed to Justice Clarence Thomas’ dissent as a guide for future action. “Justice Thomas explained that the 14th Amendment, the original intent, was to enhance and really value citizenship,” Johnson said. “And it’s been devalued because of birthright tourism, which is what we have now. It’s a threat to the rule of law and national security. We do need to address it.”

Although Johnson did not point to specific legislation, he pledged that the House would move swiftly if lawmakers could identify a workable solution. “If there is a bill that can fix that, we’ll advance that immediately,” he said, while acknowledging that amending the Constitution would be a far more difficult process.
