President Donald Trumps approval rating is sitting at record lows across two national surveys released in early July, underscoring a sustained period of deep public discontent during his second term.
A new Economist/YouGov poll conducted between July 3 and July 6 among 1,603 U.S. adult citizens shows 35 percent approving of Trumps job performance and 61 percent disapproving, giving him a net approval rating (those who approve minus those who disapprove) of minus 26matching the lowest level recorded in that series in May 2026.
Trumps net approval of −26 also matches the lowest point seen across his two terms and Bidens presidency, according to YouGov.
A second poll, conducted online by Focaldata and released on July 6, reinforces the broader pattern.

(8,886 posts)more important questions that perhaps drive approvability in TSF's case: which characteristics do you think affects TSF's job performance:
...ignorance
...malignant narcissism
...emotional disorders
...increasing evidence of dementia or diminished mental capacity
...extreme lack of governing experience
...corruption, which leads to decisions adversely affecting citizens
...ETTD
...cruelty
It is increasingly obvious that TSF has mental and emotional issues and poll respondents may know it, but poll questions almost always just ask about issue areas and limit respondents' ability to answer
