probably most of the current senators and congress critters who can, it's an expected part of their duties. As for anyone else, it'll probably be the crowd who's attitude is anybody-whose-anybody,-darling crowd, i.e., the rich and famous. The seen and be seen crowd, who really don't care what the event is, it's more important to be seen at the event.
