Bullets hit the tow truck as it pulled away with the mans Ford F-150.A Miami Gardens man wasnt ready to let go of his black Ford F-150 as it was repossessed from his home on Monday. He was so enraged he chased down the tow-truck driver, shot at him and hunted him down again, police say.
Lawrence Hilbert Morant, 39, is facing charges of armed criminal mischief, aggravated assault with a firearm and shooting into vehicles. As of Thursday, he had bonded out of the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
Around 6 p.m. Monday, the tow-truck driver hooked up Morants pick-up truck in his driveway, an arrest report read. As the driver was leaving, Morant ran outside and tried to stop him but failed.
Moments later, Morant aggressively pursued, running after the tow truck, yelling curse words and threatening the driver, Miami Gardens police said.
The driver thought he was a safe distance away from Morant so he got out of his truck to secure the F-150 again. However, Morant tracked him down and aggressively confronted him.

OP
I would think the job of being a repo driver would be pretty hazardous.

Surprised the driver didn't have his own gun. I bet a lot of them do.

Some people would intentionally trash and disable their vehicles if they knew we were coming.
I honestly never encountered people who seemed too poor to make their payments. They were mostly folks with decent jobs, nice homes and multiple cars. Maybe overextended.
