Related: About this forumAlabama Pickers, couple known for reselling and vaccine opposition, both dead of COVID
One of the last videos the married couple posted on their now deleted YouTube channel was about how they wouldnt get the vaccine.
It was later reposted on Vaxx Manns channel, which is connected to a website titled SORRYANTIVAXXER.COM, dedicated to sharing stories of people who have gotten COVID and died, or came close to dying after sharing their anti-vax beliefs.
Ive got my own passport. Its called the Bill of Rights, Dusty said in the video around the 41:30 mark. I think this will be all behind us in a couple of years.
Dusty later spelled out the word vaccine and said that it was actually a form of immunity therapy they were giving people.
The pair then talked about everything they had survived already, including bone cancer, in Tristans case.
They also talked about COVID and the vaccine at length on their deleted channel.
Tristan died on Aug. 25 in her sleep, according to the GoFundMe page. Two days later, Dusty started a GoFundMe for her expenses on the 27th, while still in the ICU himself. /snip

(56,566 posts)For some reason, the least educated among us are often so self-sure of themselves, they come off as smug know-it-alls, just sticking it to the dumb "libbruls," who, though educated, are inferior beings worthy of nothing but contempt. Maybe it's some kind of defensive compensation for not knowing that "to be or not to be" is not just something that Mel Brooks (Jack Benny? Who's Jack Benny?) made up.

(1,910 posts)Goodness, at some point just maybe they see that if they are obese they should not be touting their anti-vax status?? Not like it is the biggest risk factor by far for the under 60s or anything.

(6,699 posts)I'm LOVING these stories of the cult anti-vaxxers contracting the virus and dying. No sympathy at all. Glad the country is rid of such assholes.

(31,443 posts)on disgusting people like this. I say that because I have friends & family members who listened to ill informed bs, from ill informed a**holes like the ones described in the article, and many of them are no longer with us.

(17,440 posts)to first deny they are sick, then deny its covid, then take ineffective/harmful meds when they should seek real medical treatments, then go to the hospital when they can no longer breathe.
Treatment delayed is treatment forfeit. They are so sick when they finally do go in, they are already being sized for a toe tag.
