The media in Europe has been mirroring that in the US for most of the campaign, meaning very little coverage of Bernie.

Europe is quite liberal in most ways as a rule and so Europeans would like Clinton more... Trump is seen as a bafoon... And maybe dangerous...

People don't really know that much about the particulars.

and have recently spoken to believe that Hillary is the better choice. They very much like what Bernie says but they do not see that he has accomplished anything on the scale of what she has. Most women in developing countries remember how her speech in Beijing propelled greater acknowledgement of women's rights globally. Men remember her husband with respect. I am currently in Turkey and Turks adore Bill Clinton for his immediate response to the devastating earthquake here even before their own government responded. People here also admire Presilent Obama for many reasons and like Hillary because she has worked so closely and well with him.

While many US expats seem to prefer Bernie (in Geneva where I am generally based, Bernie really didn"t win by much but he did win), citizens of other countries do not seem to believe that he really knows much about the world and global issues generally, in my experience. This belief is reflected less among the very young who don't know either candidate well and generally feel the Bern because that seems to be the fad. But among those who have been paying attention for more than five.minutes, it's Hill all the way.

I tell them pretty straight forward that his stances are dangerous and that he is a racist.
