...here's the ties which are growing strong every day between the US and the Philippines since Marcos Jr. and Joe Biden have become President of their respective countries

I am retired here on the island of Panay, just 100 miles or so from Palawan where a new US base is being advanced.

Why would China invade the Philippines? With all Russian assets busy in Ukraine, Dagestan and on the ready in other potential hotspots in Western Russia, why wouldn’t China go for Eastern Russia and Siberia?

Those plans have been mitigated by U.S.-funded Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA) sites along the coastlines of the Philippines facing Taiwan ... assuming favorable outcome in November election.
