If you're not already writing with Postcards to Voters, I highly recommend it! It's a very easy, satisfying and effective way to boost winning Democratic turnouts.
Volunteering with #PostcardstoVoters has transformed my political fears and frustrations into hope.
What started on March 11, 2017 with sharing 5 addresses apiece to 5 volunteers on Facebook so that they could mail postcards to voters in Jon Ossoffs race grew in one month to 1,200+ volunteers nationwide and over 51,000 postcards mailed.
Now, we consist of over 10,000 volunteers in every state (including Alaska and Hawaii) who have written over 500,000 postcards to voters in dozens of key, close elections.
We use an interactive texting service to assign addresses to our trusted, returning volunteers. For new volunteers and those organizing postcard parties around the country, we use a commercial Help Desk system to streamline and automate email requests.

(27,995 posts)So the costs do add up. I've been sending about 20 postcards a week and plan to increase that amount this summer. I'm using plain postcards from the post office and adding patriotic stickers.

(13,088 posts)cursive writing now, that it was actually difficult. I'll get back in the swing of it soon, though.
Thanks for posting this. I was looking for something out-of-district to do. I thought I'd work with SwingLeft, but nothing worked out for me. I'll look at them again, though.
