Check Your Voter Registration Status

With so many states now purging names from their voter databases, it's important to check you are still listed as registered and to ensure all personal info is correct.

Here's a quick and easy online tool:

https://www.vote.org/am-i-registered-to-vote/

PLEASE NOTE: At that website, you can check TWO ways:
(1) Fill out the form, which will take you directly to your voter info.
(2) If you don't want to provide an email address as required in #1, SCROLL DOWN to links to each state's election board, where you can navigate to your voter info.

...especially with anyone who may have moved recently or skipped voting a time or two.

Actually, everyone would be wise to check, now that Russians are breaching state voter databases. They need only change a digit or two in your zip code, birthdate, etc., and you may well be denied a ballot on Election Day.

I clicked on my state and it took me directly to the SOS website and I was able to verify my status.

12. Depends on state. I am in WI. I get one at my local polling station on Election Day.

I am often the only one asking for one, but I do it anyway. I lived in CO for many years and they sent paper ballots to everyone. Additionally, after working in IT for 23 years, I know that data is very vulnerable.

...after years of having the touchscreen voting machines.

I was VERY glad for the change, but probably not as much as our poll workers, who had to deal with the inevitable computer problems while long lines of people waited.

On the Colorado SOS website I'm fine though. Active registered Democrat!

Yeah, it IS annoying when you type in lots of info and then there's a SNAFU so it doesn't go through.

But I just entered my info, and it's working OK now.

Let's hope the problem was a momentary surge of site users.
