I tell them that I am a teacher which is true, I WAS a teacher but now disabled/sick, and that my fellow teachers have been discussing this issue at school lunch this week and I represent them (power in numbers). It works well. So does when I tell them I am a nurse and the fellow nurses and medical workers at my care facility aren't happy with Kavanaugh as far as women's health goes and overturning the ACA and pre-existing conditions.

I called both senators...Collins (Bangor) yesterday and spoke with a nice staffer (I have addresses to use from each state so I am a constituent if I need to be if they ask). Today I called Murkowski in Anchorage, I will correct my post. I had an Anchorage address all ready but wasn't even able to use it. Yeah!
