I think it was just a way for her to ease out of her old seat and have Garen Tarr step in.

I voted early for her, and I'm not sure I would have if I'd known that.

Rep. Cissna COULD have used her incident with the TSA to mobilize a huge amount of support, especially since Don Young was a big backer of the creation of TSA (I think he actually sponsored the legislation on that).

I hate to think this, but it has to be asked...do the Alaska Democratic Party's chief honchos themselves accept the argument that Don Young CAN'T be voted out because keeping his seniority is more important to the state than his more-or-less Neanderthal voting record(that is, when he shows up to vote)?

Makes you wonder if Ethan threw the race in 2008.

If Rep. Cissna doesn't actually want to get nominated...who do you think WILL win the primary? I haven't heard of any of the others seeking the Dem nod.

the party stabbed her in the back.

You just wonder what the people who run the ADP are thinking sometimes.

If you get a chance sometime ask her what happened at the convention.

At this point(11:06pm)she's got about a two-to-one lead over everybody else on the "D" side.
