(11,157 posts)I've only heard her when she came on the Stephanie Miller Show. Not recently though. That's a great clip.

(26,168 posts)Comedy was trending hot on TV back in the '80s and Judy Tenuta was among the best. I'm so sorry not to have seen her in later years. She's the kind of "petite flower" who sticks with you; you can't forget her brand of humor once you've heard it.
She lived a full life, but still seems gone too soon. She was amazing, and she will be missed.

(750 posts)She was the opening act when I saw her. As a male who was late to his seat sauntered down the aisle, she stopped and said "way to be on time slime". Anyone who toured with George Carlin is okay in my book.

(11,869 posts)I always thought she was funny as hell, cool, quirky, and cute. Had a crush on her for years.
Stephanie and Judy were dear friends and may take part of her show tomorrow to address this big loss

(6,331 posts)but she was a gas in that show. You can hear Katz cracking up, and he never cracked up during a bit.
(jump to 7:20 for the beginning of her segment)

(20,777 posts)Her humor leaves a hole in my heart that will not be easy to fill.
Considering the maggots and human stinkbugs (lookin' at you Jr) who survive I ask "Why? Why Judy?"
