Rudy Giuliani's Condo Claim Is 'Histrionics': Court Filing

Source: Newsweek

Published Apr 02, 2024 at 1:05 PM EDT

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani is engaged in "histrionics" by claiming that he could be left homeless if he had to sell his $3.5 million Florida condo, his creditors have claimed in court. Giuliani is fighting to keep his Palm Beach home after filing for bankruptcy.

Giuliani declared bankruptcy after a Georgia jury awarded $148 million to two Georgia election workers who had taken a defamation lawsuit against him.

While working as an election attorney for Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election, Giuliani falsely alleged that mother and daughter Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss had committed election fraud while counting ballots in Fulton County, Georgia.

His creditors, who want Giuliani to pay part of his debts by selling the condo, also contest Giuliani's "absurd" claim that he needs his Palm Beach home to record his podcast. In a filing in bankruptcy court in Manhattan, New York, on April 1, lawyers for the creditors committee strongly contested a court briefing by Giuliani's attorney on Thursday, in which he wrote that selling the condo could leave Giuliani homeless. Newsweek sought email comment from Giuliani's spokesman on Tuesday.

favourite quote when they want to screw someone who needs help.

OK, Rudy, if the "Rule of Law", which you have mentioned a lot in your corrupt career, holds to be true, then you must accept that you really deserve no pity, you are a lying criminal and making you accountable of your bad deeds will teach you a lesson. No one told you to be so stupid to think that trump would treat you better just because you dressed in women's clothes, painting your lips and talking like no woman ever talks, so suck it up, trump never loved you, and he still doesn't care about you, even though you think that if there is a god that he will treat you well because you kissed trump's corrupt butt.

Rudy, you are a disgrace, there is plenty of information that I believe will be discovered about your corrupt life while you bask in the Sun of your jail patio walking along with other inmates, and I know you don't care about history, but yes, it will treat you bad, you will end up in the same book as trump, many republicans and Benedict Arnold, you traitor SOB.

I'm sure he can find sone decent accommodations without getting into the multi-million dollar range.

Based on his statements and actions over the past several years, the state may even house him in a special place for those that have lost their facilities, and even provide him with meals and the physical and mental health care that he so obviously needs at this point.

As it’s not homesteaded. He won’t be homeless even tho he’s been trying to sell the NY home for a while now.
