Donald Trump Supports FL's Six Week Abortion Ban
Source: Meidas Touch
Donald Trump has made his position clear on a new six-week abortion ban in Florida that will soon become law after the Florida Supreme Court upheld the ban. In a new statement from Trump's senior campaign advisor Brian Hughes, the campaign said that:
"President Trump supports preserving life but has also made clear that he supports states' rights because he supports the voters' right to make decisions for themselves."
This latest statement from the campaign underscores Donald Trump's position on abortion bans heading into an election where reproductive rights will be at the forefront of voters' minds. Just yesterday, the Florida Supreme Court approved a ballot initiative that could enshrine the right to an abortion in the state's constitution. As we have seen in Republican-led states like Ohio and Kansas, when abortion ballot initiatives are on the ballot, Democrats tend to turnout.
Given recent history, Trump's comments will not help him in Florida where Democrats are now more energized than ever before to turnout heading into the November election. Expect the Biden campaign to jump on these comments shortly.

Normally I'd say STFU Donny but I think he should be as vocal as he can on this topic. If you know what I mean.

His personality disorder has seemingly rendered him incapable of recognizing the obviousness of his hypocrisy.
